Write to Libby.

Age: 30-something
Requested by: Best Friend
Location: Wisconsin, USA
Issue: Divorce

What’s going on? Libby was with her ex-husband for 10 years and married privately, while planning their wedding. During the time they were planning the wedding, she found out he was not being faithful to her after they married. She tried everything to bring them back together and he was unwilling to attend therapy or actively participate in their relationship. He (and the other individual) gaslit her and dragged her along for months. She filed for divorce and he tried to get her to stay. She's still in therapy helping her to heal and has also found a new relationship with a wonderful man. She has come so far in the last year, I am beyond proud, however he keeps popping up causing old wounds to re-open.

What do you love most about this girl? She is the most caring person I know. She's a NICU nurse and literally saves lives. Not only is she caring, she's incredibly strong both mentally & physically. She just ran her first marathon (she said she would not let her divorce be the hardest thing she's overcome, so she signed up for a marathon and DID IT). She's a boxer and former college hockey player (that's how we met). She's a girls girl and will drop everything for her girl gang. She's one of a kind - beautiful inside and out. I am hoping these letters are a reminder for her of how loved & supported she truly is.

P.S. I am a letter writer as part of The Letter Project and know how much this means. I cannot thank each of you enough for your time in support of Libby.

Write your letter and get it in the mail within one week to The Letter Project at P.O. Box 218, Kingsville, MO 64061. We’ll take it from there! You can place multiple letters in one envelope, as long as each letter/card clearly identifies the letter recipient.
